New Language Learning Database

Image
There will be a new language learning database available through TexShare. Pronunciator features 80 languages and allows the user to select both which language they speak and what language they want to learn. This allows users to, for example, indicate they want to learn French using a Spanish interface. The number of features and courses available vary by language but can include courses specifically for youths, travel, and advanced learners.   The link to the introductory webinar is  www.pronunciator.com/pronunciator-webinar/ . The video is 30 minutes long and will count as 30 minutes of training credit. All front line staff must watch the video by May 1 st . Managers will keep a sign-in sheet and have team members sign-off on it as they’ve watched the video. Once all of your employees have watched the video please, completed sign in sheet will be sent by e-mail to  hpltraining@houstontx.gov .    If you have any questions, I recommend e-mailing HPL Training an...
