11/22/17

I.             Library card applications- Monique
a.       Check for duplicate accounts
b.       Updated previous account make sure fines are paid
c.       If Id is used on a computer card move that to the note field
d.       If duplicate accounts are found investigate

II.                 Wellness engagement
a.       Biometric Screening
b.       Health activities
Plan highlights: Same familiar health assessment
Simplified program - just complete one of the four options
You choose what fits your lifestyle
Earn an additional $300 discount when your covered spouse completes the health assessment and a wellness option
Complete your health assessment by February 2, 2018 and then complete one of these wellness options:

A. Preventive Care Activities - (February 1, 2017 - February 2, 2018)
B. Telephonic Coaching, Powered by Cigna - (March 11, 2017 - March 9, 2018)
C. Onsite Lifestyle Management Programs - (August 1, 2017 - March 9, 2018)
D. Fitness Tracker (Cigna Apps & Activities) - (August 1, 2017 - March 9, 2018)

III.                   Blog- Ariel
a.       Asked what needs to be on the blog and what needs to be updated

IV.                  Meeting Rooms
a.       Make sure we go over the rules at the time of booking or when they ask about the rooms
b.       Secure the rooms when not in use. Large meeting room has no line of site
c.       Need to check locks on the other rooms
d.       Put on calendar. If you receive the paperwork put it on the calendar
e.       What is the procedure if the group cancels?

V.               Staff Development day 12/9
a.       Web training all week
b.       12/9 library closed all day
c.       Suggestion to have the Christmas party on that day
VI.             Chain of command
a.       In house and between departments
b.    GSD sprockets, Karrington, Mary

YOUNG POSITIVE POPS!

HAVE YOU NOTICED A STAFF MEMBER GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND? Share with me what that staff member did, who the staff member is, and your name.  Each staff member will receive a certificate to take and their name placed in a drawing to select a prize from a bin. The prizes will include various stationary items and a mix candy. December Staff Meeting Minutes

In attendance: Cedric, Jerome, Darrell, Michelle, Monique, Nuvia Our very first staff meeting began with a discussion on morale. Darrell started off by stressing that in order to keep a good morale, we need to lift each other up. We should be proactive and take it upon ourselves to be kind and encouraging and acknowledge each others hard work. Cedric reminded us that everyone contributes to the team morale and having an open line of communication will help us be a more cohesive and productive team.
